Mother's Day is such a special day to show extra love and appreciation to your Mom. Although appreciation should be shown daily, we all know that usually doesn't happen. Now that I've become a mother, I have a much deeper respect and appreciation for my Mom. Now I know how much time, energy, patience, and love goes into raising children. It's exhausting!
I wasn't sure people could survive on a few hours of sleep, but for moms, it comes with the territory. And how amazed are you, by the messes your children can make? I didn't realize how many runny noses my mom wiped away; and when I was sick, she was right there with me through it all. Moms make everything "all better". But most of all, having children fills your heart with so much love, you feel as though your heart might burst. Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms...you're a rock star!
On Mother's Day, we went to breakfast with our Moms and the rest of the family. Afterward, we went outside to see the airplanes. The kids loved them.
